3 live animals traffickers arrested with 2 young live hyenas

3 live animals traffickers arrested with 2 young live hyenas. They were ordered and captured with their mother that has already been traded away. The two were kept chained to a wall and fed only rice leftovers. Hyenas are targeted by the illegal trade as mystical animals for black magic. The traffickers travelled 3 hours with the young hyenas and put them in small cages so besides the wounds from the chains they were also wounded at their faces from the bars.
The hyenas, now free of chains and out of cages, were placed in quarantine by the Department of National Parks with the view of releasing them back to the wild if possible.
