3 traffickers arrested with 20kg of Ivory in Makoua. One of them has been a wildlife officer for a decade, trafficking Ivory while being paid to protect elephants around the Odzala National Park. It seems his illegal activities have been known for years and yet he still kept his job and uniform all along. This laxity and tolerance for corruption and complicity that lasted for a decade have to stop. Perrine and her PALF team in another great action with the Congolese authorities fighting corruption and wildlife crime.
