4 traffickers arrested with several tusks cut into several pieces, a gun and ammunition. 2 traffickers were first arrested as they attempted to sell 2 tusks that had been cut into 6 pieces to probably concealed them better and transport. The 2 other traffickers were arrested during a follow up operation and several more pieces of ivory, a 12-gauge gun and ammunition seized. The crackdown dismantles a whole chain of poachers and traffickers working together, killing elephants for many years.
