5 ivory traffickers arrested

"Baron" of ivory market in Makokou, Gabon, is behind bars!  3 ivory traffickers with 15 kg of ivory were arrested in Gabon in an epic operation carried out by AALF team, Judiciary Police and Gendarmerie with personal assistance of the Prosecutor of the Republic of Makokou. He ordered the car of the traffickers to stop for a road control and blocked it, which was then followed by a noise, as people around did not know that it was the Prosecutor personally in action! But he used his authority well to handle the criminals and the whole situation.

The traffickers are part of a criminal ring. The head of the gang, known as "Colombo" or "Baron" is responsible for killing of many elephants in the region.

The Prosecutor ordered a house search, during which 2 other accomplices were arrested and 3 elephant killing riffles were seized.
