A ring of ivory traffickers cracked!

2 wildlife traffickers arrested with 21 kg of ivory in back to back operations on 11th October, Conservation Justice working with the Gabonese authorities. Their nationalities are of Cameroon and Ghana - giving an idea about the international nature if the trade.
After interrogation they revealed more accomplices, employees of the logging company Compagnie des Bois du Gabon (CBG). Within three days, six more traffickers were arrested with cooperation of the logging company. All the 8 criminals are behind bars waiting for trial.
