Congo, 9 Apr 20183 ivory traffickers arrested with 8 ivory tusks in the centre of the country. They transported the ivory to the place of transaction on a canoe, concealed in a bag of cassava flour, to deceive the authorities.

Guinea, 3 Apr 2018EAGLE Guinea follows a case of leopard skin trafficker, arrested by wildlife authorities with one leopard skin several days ago. Thanks to good support of the legal adviser, two more traffickers were arrested, one of them the head of hunter´s association and the other one the head of a nature conservation association. The last one has been trained within a program of European Union focusing on conservation, and as a conservator of a protected area participated at launching of 5,000,000 EUR conservation project. The two brothers, notorious traffickers, used a shop, owned by one of them, as a cover for their illegal activities. They were arrested at their father´s house during the attempt to sell the contraband.
