Arrest of 3 major traffickers of ivory

Following investigations carried out by TALFF and l'Unité Mixte de Contrôle des conteneurs and l'Office Central de Répression du Trafic Illicite des Drogues et du Blanchiment (OCRTIDB) 2126.3 kg of ivory tusks were seized in Lome on January 29, 2014 at the Port of Lomé. The seized contraband belonged to the traffickers arrested earlier. Two of them were Togolese, the third man was Vietnamese.
